THE LOVE GOLDERS LOYALTY CARD SCHEME

Announcing our grant win!

LoveGolders has just been awarded a grant from the government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund to help promote footfall in Golders Green High Street this year. Our idea is to create a digital loyalty card app platform to deliver this.

This summer up to £5000 will be given away to help drive customers to selected local restaurants in the form of food discounts, via the app.

At the same time, we are surveying independent food businesses in Golders Green, face to face, to help understand their aspirations and challenges. Nearly 25 different businesses have been interviewed. This is the first time any such exercise has been conducted in our High Street.

The data we gather will add help us to create a business network and will allow us to build a future Golders Green online directory.

What is the LoveGolders Loyalty Card Scheme?

The LoveGolders Loyalty Card will be a free membership programme delivered through a mobile app. This digital platform has the capability to send messages and offers to Golders Green residents to get them to eat out and shop in the High Street more often and keep them coming back.

When is the Golders Green loyalty pilot scheme happening?

July 1st – August 31st 2024.

How many restaurants can take part in the loyalty card pilot scheme?

Once invited, a maximum of 15 restaurants will have a chance to participate in the scheme this summer on a first come first serve basis. If the scheme is successful we will ask these restaurants if they would like to continue as partners on the scheme. We will also look at rolling out the loyalty card to all types of local businesses in Golders Green and Temple Fortune. We are prioritising the smaller businesses who need the most help first. If you are a business looking for exposure and the chance to increase your network we encourage you to fill out our survey and get on our radar. 

How will the scheme work for restaurants and customers?

To participate in the scheme, restaurants will be expected to encourage customers to use their welcome offer (£5 discount given on a spend of £10 or more / per app user. Takeaway orders excluded).

After the customer has used their welcome discount they can continue collecting stamps to win more rewards (to be decided).

At the end of the scheme fill out a short feedback survey for Barnet council and we will refund you the money you gave for the discounts.

How can restaurants join the LoveGolders Loyalty Card

1) Complete our High Street Survey and join the LoveGolders business network

2) Register your interest for the summer Loyalty Card Pilot Scheme by May 15th (first come first served)

3) The 15 successful applicants will be contacted by May 20th
